46th Edition of the National Day

UDs/FMPS joins  the podium

Dschang,UDs-SIC-20/05/18.  For the first time, the students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Dschang were part of the over 500 students of the university to participate in the 46^th edition of the National Day. The colourful event that kick started with a military and civilian parade under the theme ;Cameroon citizen lets  remain united in diversity and preserve social peace, for stable indivisible and prosperous Cameroon saw the citadel of knowledge contribute its own quota through their energetic march pass and message display . The messages that highlighted the civilian parade encouraged love and unity for development such as Lets build our beloved country in peace , the promotion of cultural diversity , reunification ,love, tolerance and living together .The start of the civilian march pass depicted unity through the display of various traditional regalia of the 10 regions. Animated by the university fanfare, the University of Dschang carried messages like “the students of the University of Dschang say red card to insurgency in our beloved country Cameroon, Cultural diversity an asset for the development of Cameroon, lets respect the national emblems, respect our flag and our unity among other unifying messages. The Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences for the time in carried the banner with message; An International Cooperation to strengthen the Professionalization of University Education, necessary for the emergence of Cameroon by 2035. The various departments of the faculty were represented in their light blue and white sports wears.  All the facets of the university were represented; the faculties, institutions, schools, annex, foreign students of the university actively took part in the march pass. It is evident that the students of the University of Dschang are poised to promote unity through their messages as they project the institution’s scientific strength./
