59th National Youth Day celebration

 The University of Dschang in full participation

Dschang, UDs/SIC11/02/25.Today, 11 February 2025, at the   Dschang Ceremonial  ground:, the University of Dschang joined the youths to celebrate the 59^th Edition of the National Youth Day .  With the theme for this edition being: Youth, maturity and responsibility for the consolidation of peace, security, economic growth and the democratic process. As usual, the prestigious university showcased once more its dynamic skills during the march pass with a total of 585 students taking part in this year’s march pass alongside 18 supervisors. Each faculty was represented by 50 students and 80 students for the external campuses. Flag bearers were 40 in number, Sport club 40, Cultural clubs 40, CEMAC zone 40, Majorettes 30,and the fanfare 15 students respectively. The various faculties and schools of the University of Dschang projected the theme of the year in the various messages they showcased which upheld unity, peace and development. The University’s   principal banner read : A conscious and dynamic university youth is an asset for the economic growth, peace and emergence of our Country, FLSH read :A  crucible for the training of mature youth ready to meet the challenges of the process Technological development serving ambitious and committed student youth, UDS the temple of excellence and quality, let us consolidate the democratic process and economic growth of our beautiful country, Mature university youth for the peaceful consolidation of the democratic process, Rigor, integrity and quest for excellence in the training of health professionals, guarantees of peace and economic growth, Agronomy  training, guarantees of the employability of young people and our food security and Laboratory for the consolidation of the rule of law, democracy and the maintenance of social peace in Cameroon among other messages. The youths after this ceremony are poised to adhere to the very fascinating speech of the Head of State./
