Key speakers set the ball rolling
Dschang –UDs/SIC-29/03/18.The Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences hosted the 9th International Congress on Cervical Cancer in Sub-saharan Africa from the 29th to the 30th March 2018 in association with Former Cameroonian Students in Switzerland (ANES) , the Ministry of Public health, University of Yaoundé 1 and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva, Switzrland. The event which kick started at 8:00 am commenced with the registration of over 150 participants and an exposé session on cervical cancer epidemiology and prevention strategy with themes on how to prevent cervical cancer in sub-Saharan Africa by Prof Pierre M Tebeu (UY1/Cameroon CIESPAC/Congo), Nanotechnology in cancer therapy by Prof Charles FOKUNANG, 20 years of fight against cervical cancer in Africa: medical collaboration between Geneva and Yaoundé by Prof Pierre Vassilakos and the role of the community in the fight against cervical cancer in sub-Saharan Africa by Dr FOUEDJIO Jeanne H. Épse FOUELIFACK
