VC lauds collective success

Dschang,UDs/SIC-29/07/22.The Proclamation of results and closing ceremony of the 2021-2022 academic year marked the crowning of the excellence achieved within the school year. The head of the institution Professor Roger  Tsafack Nanfosso made known his satisfaction for the 72.67% success rate achieved during this academic year. He lauded the collective efforts of the teaching and non- teaching staff as well as the students making them worthy of a deserved rest during the upcoming holidays. » In Dschang, the academic year has a beginning and an end« , the VC proudly proclaimed. Recounting on how the school year which officially began on the 5^th of October 2021 unfolded, Prof. Nanfosso unveiled that it was not hitch free but the challenges were overcome as classes and other activities were not halted. As far as  sporting activities which witnessed a slow down were concerned, the VC promised they will be revamped in the next academic year. In his fluent speech members of the University community and other personalities present, were informed of major activities that marked the academic year like official visits of authorities and even staff through the Erasmus project, and increase in the number of researchers. He equally lauded the efforts of partners and the 47 private Institutes of Higher learning under its mentorship of which brought forth the success rate of 59.36%. The VC very optimistic about the future of the University of Dschang rounded up his speech by calling on the students to be exemplary in character. He exalted them to consider their lecturers as models and to shun from been influenced by ‘ motivational speaker’s on social media. /
