FONDUDs elects new Board chair

Dschang UDs/SIC-03/03/18. During the 1^st Administrative council meeting, Mr. Jacob Sindze, Director General of Area Insurance was unanimously voted as Board chair of the University Foundation. This position entails that the growth of the foundation lies on the strategies to put in place to ensure that FONDUDs attains its objectives. During a brief chat with the communication unit after the   ACM, the Board chair stated that key axis of priority were taken into consideration “after our administration council meeting we identified some priority actions to be put in place immediately, firstly the construction of a Post graduate school for the students of PhD level… and the construction of an administrative block for the Faculty of Medicine newly created by the Head of State the board chair stated. These identified projects will nonetheless contribute not only to boost the spirit instilled by the Head of State but also profit the students of the University of Dschang.  The Board chair’s vision and mission is to encourage the present donors and attract prospective donors for the foundation, the action plan put in place during the Administrative Council is poised at employing a marketing pull and push strategy geared towards the donors to ensure that they are attracted to the foundation, the Board chair stated. This will mean selling the image of the university to serve the university in its infrastructural development. The vision of the new Board chair of the foundation is in the right direction in the building process of this citadel of knowledge.
