Newly appointed assume office

Dschang-UDs/SIC-13/02/18.During the ceremony of the new year wishes  , the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tsafack Nanfosso celebrated the vision of the Head of State for MINESUP for granting the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He explained that since 1993 in addition to the existing faculties, IUT, IBAF, FLSH, FSEG, FJSP, FS, FASA, UDs will now have to be acquainted to FMPS. He equally appreciated the appointment of the trio, Prof Mbarga Bindzi as Technical Adviser replacing Prof Manjack Albert called to other duties, Prof Thomas Tamo Tatietse as DIPD replacing Prof Kamdem Emmanuel who goes on retirement and Prof Simeon Pierre Choukem as Dean of the FMPS while unveiling their biographies and offering them encouraging words. Working under the umbrella of collective dynamism, the VC explained that it simply ‘reflects our desire as a university to work as a team, in respect of hierarchy to produce expected results’. He encouraged the newly appointed to imbibe solidarity and to be passionate about their work. Assuring them of the fact that they have all the assets to make their talents shine out at UDs, the Vice Chancellor solemnly installed the newly appointed staff in their positions.

Prof. Tsafack Nanfosso then went on to thank the lecturers and students for making the past academic year a success, declaring the date of the 31^st July 2018 for the proclamation of results. He applauded the student delegates making known the fact that UDs counts on them to make a smooth liaison between the administration and the students. The VC also disclosed the fact that the first contingent of the Paul Biya Higher Education Vision (PB HEV) computers will be officially handed over to students on Friday 16^th February 2018. He congratulated those recently retired, the meritorious workers and the newly promoted while lauding the achievements of the university. The Conference for Rectors of Francophone Universities and the Indian Ocean in its French acronym (CRUFAOCI) scheduled for the 19^th to the 23^rd of February 2018 first of its kind in Cameroon and Dschang was equally announced by the VC  as he encouraged all to put hand in glove for its success.
