Dr BIMEME BENGONO ISIDORE

FSEG lecturer/participant: I am very happy to have been part of this international colloquium… I think the workshops have its place. We wish that such scientific exchange platform should be multiplied ,so as to accommodate scientific brainstorming for proper research to attain concrete solutions to development.

Momo Nkenfack

2nd Assistant Mayor of Dschang

I was invited and charged to present on the effects of decentralization and deconcentration and local development. The theme is very interesting and the numerous sub-themes are very enriching. Its pertinence has made it imperative for me to be part of this scientific gathering.

Pr Kobou Georges

The issue surrounding this colloquium borders on the role of the decentralized territorial entities. Owing to the fact that there exist administrative texts providing financial and administrative autonomy to such ,but in reality it’s not fundamentally complete… thus the problem is that this TDe’s don’t have sufficient resources from the State.as such this is a platform to seek the way forward.

The Colloquium is very important because it exposes its participants to numerous scientific works on the theme. For example here at the Faculty stand we have copies on the resolutions of the previous international colloquium on decentralization and   PhD theses on decentralization among other key scientific documents which can better orient the perspective of the theme in question.

Donald Chewa,

Student Faculty of Economics and Management level 3

I have learnt a lot from this colloquium organized by the Faculty, during the exchange session, I learned about the different axes of decentralization and its role in local development. My impressions are very appreciable because as students we have been able to listen to communications that can ensure sustainable development.

Nelie Zanjieu

FSEG Master 2 Économie et développement

I am happy to have taken part in this International colloquium. The participation of international experts, financial and economic structures, enlightened us better on the theme. The knowledge acquired will help me as a researcher to expand my scope of research and contribute my own quota to local development.

Rosine Fassi ,

University of Yaoundé II

…I was lucky to have my paper selected for this colloquium titled decentralization and access to electricity in Cameroon: the role … I received some critiques of my work and it will help me to ameliorate my scientific work. The workshops were very enriching as such I return with more information on decentralization. The colloquium has been a point of meeting to brainstorm on pertinent recommendations on decentralization and development in the future.

As it draws it curtains on the 28th October it is obvious that recommendation will be made to ensure the proper implementation of decentralization for sustainable development./
