University community to benefit from 25% and 50% reduction in flight fares
Dschang,UDs/SIC-19/11/21.-One of the key moments of the 2021/2022 academic reopening ceremony was the signing of a partnership agreement between the University of Dschang and the Cameroon Airlines Cooperation (CAMAIR-CO). The Vice Chancellor of the University of Dschang, Prof Roger Tsafack Nanfosso and the Central African Director of CAMAIR CO, Jean Chrisotophe Ella Ncuema sealed this agreement in style with great applause from the university community during the grandiose event.
This signature formalizes collaboration between the university and the national airlines company in line with national flights and takes into account teaching, non-teaching staff and students. This partnership takes into account the transportation of passengers, freight transport, mail service, and advertising management among others. For the University, Camair-co in its bid to diversify its commercial offer introduced the UNIFARE; this agreement translates to a reduction of flight fare for members of the university community. The students are to benefit a reduction of 50% while the personnel of the institution benefit of a reduction of 25%. This reduction is slated for the following days, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. For the students eligibility , they are to present their student Identity card or receipt of the payment of fee of the year in progress, for the staff, they are to present their professional identity card or an attestation of effective presence for the year in progress.
Thus, Camair-co offers a special client status to member so the university community. As such a key account will be created for the management of university flight relations. With this innovation, students, non-teaching staff and lecturers can easily travel for research, missions and outreach programmes to benefit the University and their academic careers./
