UDs grabs gold in athletics

History repeats itself

Bamenda,SIC/UDs-25/04/17.20^th edition of UG games Bamenda 2017, the athletic squad entered day 3 action of play today in the following, 5000m finals for ladies, 800m finals both men and ladies, 800m aerodynamic finals for ladies, 1500m aerodynamic finals for men, 4 * 100m finals for both men and ladies, high jump finals for females, javelin finals for men and triple high jump finals for men. The flag of UDs went flying high when Eyango Christian made a 56m throw in the javelin men competition to win the gold medal. By this sublime act maintains his title as champion in this category. UDs flag went higher again when Belta Ntemgoua finished the 5000m for ladies in 18mins 12 secs to win the gold medal

In the meantime, Tsague Gaetan was very much awaited in the 800m race for men but did not make it to the first three positions same for the quatrio of the 4 * 100m male and female. As it stands, the athletic squad of the UDs counts 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals. DT
