IMMORTALIZING THE 2019 GAMES

The 22nd edition of the Varsity games hosted by UDs provide a perfect opportunity for the institution to go an extra mile to promote its image through the putting in place of a university shop. The shopping centre of the collective dynamics games which is situated at the entrance of the main campus offers an opportunity to participants (athletes, supporters, officials, tourists, visitors etc.) to purchase and keep souvenirs of the games with gadgets such as: T-shirts, polos T-shirts, caps, umbrellas, key holders, vuvuzelas, tea cups, plates amongst many other articles all embossed with the logo of the institution and the mascot of the games. On sale in the shop too, are the games and the university fabrics. The prices of articles are graduated in a manner to ensure that anyone who goes in there will be able to do a purchase. To put in place this shopping centre, UDs, in its usual cooperative spirit entered a partnership contract with ABLE Sarl enterprise that deals in print. This partnership is not par harzard, but anchored on two reasons. Firstly, Able offers services such as printing of banners, complimentary cards, maintenance and offers training in infographics, just to name a few. Secondly, in its spirit of insertion, the CEO of Able sarl, Nsanu Eric Lionel Neba is a former student of the Faculty of Sciences and graduate of Maths and Computer Sciences of the institution. This side attraction will forever be engraved in the minds of participants of the games with lots of take-home packages come 11th May 2019.
